MinorityVR Brings A New Travel Experience To Virtual Reality!

MinorityVR, a pioneer development studio of virtual reality (VR) games based in Montreal, in collaboration with the Canada Media Fund (CMF), Finavia, Finnair and Visit Finland are excited to announce the launch of the new travel Virtual Reality experience, “Trek: Travel Around the World.”, available now on Steam and Viveport. MinorityVR and the CMF were looking for brand partners globally for their innovative Virtual Reality travel experience. All partners saw the opportunity to be part of a cutting-edge concept which will enable everyone around the world to feel the magic of Finland, wherever they might be. KLOK, a creative agency specialized in moving images, facilitated the collaboration between all parties to help capture the essence of the experience in virtual reality.

In Trek: Travel Around the World, the adventure starts in your new Helsinki apartment. Each experience after that transports you to a new destination where real-world locations are blended with magical phenomenon: Catching fishes in the Archipelago in order to fill the sky with the majestic Northern Lights, powering the city of Helsinki as a giant in the capital of Finland, and tracing the stars to highlight the constellations in the sky. The world is your playground and if you look at the world through the eyes of a child, you can experience the magic in everything.
