While the gameplay trailer shown off today didn’t quite have the same building destruction chaos as when we last saw Crackdown 3, the game is shaping up to still look as fun as we remember the series was.
Crackdown 3 will launch on November 7th, the same day as the Xbox One X. The game will be available for all Xbox Platforms as well as Windows. The game is also part of the “Play Anywhere” program that allows you to take the game with you regardless of playing on Xbox One or PC.
Crackdown will also feature Brooklyn Nine-Nine star Terry Crews as the character Commander Jaxon. The game takes place in a colorful, futuristic city that goes all out in its efforts to stomp out crime. Characters will be able to leap large distances, wield powerful abilities, and level buildings down to their core. As Terry Crews yells in the trailer “Forget dropping bombs, you’re dropping buildings!”
Previously, Crackdown 3 has been shown off sparingly and suffered a delay due to Microsoft delaying the title to work on its multiplayer features.
