The Game Bakers Reveal Furi’s Musical Lineup, Soundtrack and Live Concert Date

MONTPELLIER, FRANCE – May 31, 2016

With its hands up in the air, Indie studio The Game Bakers unveiled today the multifaceted lineup of musicians for Furi, its upcoming all-boss combat-action game, and announced the original soundtrack. The Game Bakers’ electronic audio attack will hit its peak when the studio holds a star-studded concert in Paris, France this summer.

Furi Soundtrack

Furi’s sonic journey is headlined by a barrage of popular electro musicians, each of whom created original tracks for the relentless string of bosses. The full roster of musical artists features:

  • Carpenter Brut
  • Danger
  • The Toxic Avenger
  • Lorn
  • Scattle
  • Waveshaper
  • Kn1ght

The video game cult favorite Carpenter Brut is best known for the wildly acclaimed Trilogy album and Turbo Killer video, while Danger is known for his idiosyncratic blend of high-energy electro, chiptune and synth styles as well as wearing his ‘Final Fantasy Black Mage’-inspired mask in concert. The moody compositions of each artist convey the personality of the intimidating guardians, the tension leading to the battle, and the frenzy of those fights to the death.

The Game Bakers and game music label G4F Records are also excited to reveal that the original soundtrack is compiled in a full digital and vinyl album. The custom vinyl is a one-of-a-kind double LP with album art from Takashi Okazaki, character designer for Furi and best known for his creation of Afro Samurai.

Players and fans alike can attend a one-of-a-kind live concert in Paris, France this summer. With four of the musicians playing music from the game and their latest hits, the all-night concert also will feature playable versions of the game. The concert will take place on Friday, July 8 at La Machine du Moulin Rouge in Paris, France.

Furi is slated for release on PlayStation 4 and PC in summer 2016. For more information, please visit: furigame.com
