New cinematic trailer + Beta Info for “Silence” (PS4/Xbox One/PC)

Daedalic Entertainment returns to The Whispered World: Silence – sequel to Daedalic’s adventure-hit – will offer not only completely new 3D visuals, but also take players back to Silence, a world made of dreams.

The players accompany the teenager Noah and his curious sister Renie. Noah lost his little sister in the perils of war in the real world and hopes to find her again in Silence – the dream world he travelled as the clown Sadwick years ago. But also this once peaceful world is ravaged by war. In search of Renie, Noah joins a group of rebels who fight against the sinister “seekers”– terrifying creatures that engulf everyone on their way.

This story with humor and heart, written by Anne von Vaszary and Marco Hüllen, is about the unconditional love between brother and sister in times of great danger in a struggle for sheer survival. Adventure fans cannot only look forward to two playable characters, but also to seeing more familiar faces from Silence – first of all Spot, Sadwick’s useful caterpillar sidekick.

For the first time, Daedalic Entertainment makes constant use of the camera projection technique to create their game’s world. One of the main goals is to capture the spirit and atmosphere of the first part’s 2D-artworks and transfer them to a stunning 3D-environment. Silence – The Whispered World 2 will be released for PC, Mac and Consoles in early 2016.
