Divide By Sheep coming to iOS and Steam on July 2
Divide By Sheep, the award-winning math-based puzzler about slicing sheep in half, is coming to Steam and the iOS App Store on July 2 — and there’s a new trailer to celebrate the impending doom.
From the twisted minds of tinyBuild Games and Bread Team, and winner of DevGAMM’s Best Mobile Game Award, Divide By Sheep appears to be a cute, bouncy, colorful puzzler. Then the wolves, lasers and krakens come out to play, and it all gets a bit dark.
Here’s the problem: The lifeboats are ready to carry the sheep to safety, but if you have one too many sheep to fit on the rafts, you might need to slice a couple of them in two and tape them back together afterwards. Not that Divide By Sheep is a dark comedy or anything.
Oh, and you won’t just be helping the sheep out. Sometimes the wolves and pigs will need your help, while the Dark World will require you actively kill sheep to help the grim reaper make some friends.
Divide By Sheep is due to launch for iPhone, iPad and PC on July 2, with over 100 messed up puzzles across four worlds. Expect both Steam and iOS press codes within the next couple of weeks.
- It’s a math-based puzzler that seems cute and cuddly…
- but it’s really totally not
- Slice and dice sheep, then strap them back together
- Seriously, it’s pretty messed up.
