Nintendo Wii U fans who missed out on the retail 2014 release of Bayonetta 2 will have another chance to pick up one of the best action titles so far released on the system.
The game will be re-released to retail February 19th for a budget price of $29.99 USD. Bayonetta 2 will see this re-release in time for her Smash Bros debut as her DLC pack is expected to launch very soon after.
For those who buy their games via the eshop, Bayonetta 2 is already up on the digital store, but is currently at its original retail price.
Back in 2014 when the title first came out, it was packaged with the original Bayonetta. This won’t be the case this time around, and it is currently unclear if the original game will see a retail release, but it is currently for sale in the eshop store.
It’s really smart for Nintendo to introduce the character in Smash Bros to rejuvinate interest for her Wii U game as the character originally made her debut on PS3 and Xbox 360 a few years prior.
If you haven’t had the chance to experience Bayonetta yet, this is a great time to start.
