Analgesic Productions’ Follow-Up to Anodyne ‘EVEN THE OCEAN’ arrives November 16th

In Even the Ocean you play as Aliph, a lowly power plant technician for Whiteforge City who finds her world turned upside-down after a routine maintenance trip goes awry. Now, working directly with the city’s government to face an unknown menace, Aliph must navigate her newfound power and influence to save the city. Aliph’s journey, environmental issues, and the world’s fate all hang in the balance of Light and Dark energies.

Even the Ocean is all about balance. As you navigate power plants and other environments, you collect Light and Dark energy to modify your platforming abilities. Light energy gives you more jump height, whereas Dark energy makes you run faster. By charging Aliph with either type, you’ll be able to overcome the non-violent platforming challenges that await.

Between the action-platforming in the Power Plants, you’ll meet a rich cast of characters such as the exuberant Mayor Biggs, a telepathic starfish, or the inhabitants of a curiously cheerful town, carved into a snowy basin.

  • Balance your energy bar with Light and Dark energies to overcome diverse obstacles and stabilize the city.
  • Meet and talk with new friends, powerful allies, and enigmatic travelers
  • Explore the beautiful and strange geography in the overworld, towns, and environments surrounding Whiteforge City
  • Super customizable difficulties and play styles: choose between Complete, Story-only, or Gameplay-only options to make your experience your own
