Calgary Expo 2016: Expo Panel – Women in Tolkien

The 2016 Calgary Expo has come and gone and I had a fantastic opportunity to talk with a great number of talented people, or take in a panel featuring one of the guests the show offered. I’ve recorded the interviews and panels I was able to attend, and if you’ve missed the show or want to know more about these guests that were there, take a listen and enjoy!

While I haven’t read the books, I enjoyed the movies quite a bit. This panel talks about the role of women within J.R.R. Tolkien’s work. They talked about the differences between certain characters in the movie compared to their role in the book, and answered a question about a character in the Hobbit movie being added in, regardless of them not being in the book. This panel was informative, funny, and well put together.
